Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. Service and scope

ShiftCal is a shift and personal calendar planning app provided by Süreyya Karabay (SryyaLabs). These terms govern use of the app and related ShiftCal services.

Please read these terms before using the app. These terms do not limit consumer rights under mandatory applicable law.

2. Accounts and security

For features requiring an account, use sign-in credentials that belong to you and that you are authorised to use. Google or Apple sign-in is also subject to the respective provider’s terms.

Protect access to your account and device, and contact support if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not use another person’s account or impersonate anyone.

3. Plans and pay estimates

You are responsible for checking shift times, templates, hourly rates and other inputs. Time zone and date settings may affect results.

Work duration and pay calculations are estimates based on your inputs, rather than official payroll records or a promise of payment. Verify your work schedule and pay entitlements against your employer’s records.

4. Partner sharing

Use partner invitations and shared plans with the other person’s knowledge and permission. Check the data and access scope shown in the app when sharing.

You can end a partner connection. Screenshots or information previously copied outside the app by the other person may not be recoverable.

5. Records, backups and notifications

Some records are stored on your device; cloud backup and restore features may require an account and internet access. Do not assume all changes appear immediately on another device; check backups of important records.

Reminders depend on device permissions, the operating system and device settings. Delivery in every circumstance or at an exact time is not guaranteed. Maintenance, connectivity issues or technical faults may temporarily interrupt the service.

6. Licence and acceptable use

You may use the app for personal planning in accordance with applicable law. Software and trademark rights remain with their respective owners; using the app does not transfer those rights to you.

Unauthorised access, disrupting service security or operation, collecting others’ data without permission and sharing unlawful content are prohibited. Exceptions permitted by law remain available. For an app obtained through the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies where applicable.

7. Paid features and subscriptions

Personal shifts and the dial are free. ShiftCal Duo is an annual subscription for partner sync, shared plans, reports and cloud backup. One subscription covers its owner and one currently connected partner. Disconnecting or changing partners ends the previous partner’s access through that subscription.

New subscribers who are eligible according to the store can receive a 14-day free trial. The trial starts when you confirm the store subscription. Unless cancelled, the annual price shown on the purchase screen is charged after the trial and the subscription renews automatically. The store determines trial eligibility, local pricing and renewal details.

If a paid feature or subscription is offered, its price, scope, period and any automatic renewal details are shown on the purchase screen. Purchases follow the relevant store’s payment, cancellation and refund rules, without affecting your statutory rights.

Uninstalling the app or deleting your ShiftCal account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Manage it in the subscription settings of the Apple App Store or Google Play account used for purchase.

8. Privacy and account deletion

The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed, shared and retained.

You can delete your ShiftCal account and related data through Settings > Delete my account. Accounts and data in other apps using the same CoreApp account are not deleted by this action. You must separately remove copies exported outside the app. Contact support if you cannot access your account.

9. Changes and responsibility

Features and these terms may be updated as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated through the app or relevant website; the date of the current text appears on this page.

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care. These terms do not exclude liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, rights arising from existing purchases or mandatory consumer protections. Send questions and service issues to the contact address below.
